The 2023 year is shaping up to be a record-breaker for Integrity Motor Yachts, and most models are on order across the complete range.
Over summer, we celebrated the delivery of multiple new Integrity boats, some of them into new markets for the brand.
In December, two 380SX’s were delivered to clients in Sydney, along with an Integrity 380 Sedan to Melbourne, while a new 380 Sedan went to ecstatic owners in Perth.
Then in February, we delivered a great new 340SX called “Charisma” to clients in Sydney.
A superb Integrity 440 was picked up on the Gold Coast by her Sydney-based owners who then cruised south to really enjoy their new Integrity.
Also on the Gold Coast, the latest Integrity 460SX, called “Ellianne” was handed over to Tasmania-based owners, Leon and Meredith Smith. This is the first Integrity in Tassie and her owners couldn’t be happier!
Leon, Meredith and Ellie, their Maltese/Shih Tzu are soaking up the Queensland sunshine, currently at a berth at Sanctuary Cove, and are planning to head north over winter.
“We’re going to travel north, see where it takes us, then head back to Tassie around September,” says Leon.
Life-long yachties, they are thoroughly enjoying getting to know their all-new 460SX and praise the boat’s broad beam and long-line hull windows which allow fantastic views and light into the vessel.
“This is our first motor yacht. Our daughter and son and law visited from Tassie and they were pretty impressed with the set-up. It’s the first of the wider beam models and that volume is definitely noticeable inside.”
The couple came to Integrity after looking at buying another brand which they’d seen on the marina in Hobart. “We concluded we didn’t need the speed or the length, and the broker recommended Integrity to us. Ellie loves it. Wherever we are, she’s happy. The heat here is affecting us all a bit, but we’re having an extra air-conditioning unit fitted so that will help with the humidity.”
Avid adventurers, Leon and Meredith usually spend four months of the year travelling the Top End in a caravan. “Now we’ve ditched the van, it’s in storage, and we’ll be cruising from anchorage to anchorage,” he says.
“We’ve heard so much from boaties about the beautiful anchorages in Queensland, so we’re looking forward to just taking our time. We’ve been sailing in the Whitsundays, so we’ll be cruising through there and go as far as we can north. Who knows where we’ll end up?”
Paul Nanscawen of Boat Sales Tasmania will be providing the after-sales service and support once the cruising couple and their trusty pup arrive back in Tasmania in late 2023. Meantime, they can count on the Whitehaven Group for tips and advice, as well as any information on itineraries and must-see spots along the east coast.
