Travel restrictions over the past few years compelled us to introduce new means of communication among our team, clients and our factory. We have relied heavily on Zoom, more detailed designs and renders, and enhanced procedures to convey our requirements to ensure Quality Control and to keep pace with production deadlines.
A major initiative was the appointment of a dedicated Project Manager to work full-time for Integrity. We welcome Sebastien Dorckel, an experienced and respected marine specialist who’s now based at the Integrity factory in Guangzhou.
Over the past 15 years, Sebastien has worked with Aquila Power Catamarans, HH Catamarans, McConaghy Boats and MC Catamarans, and most recently One World Marine Composites. He has also worked as Base Manager for Dream Yacht Charter in the Seychelles, overseeing fleet maintenance and repairs, as well as scheduling crew for charter vessels.
Sebastien was born in France, obtained Commercial and Technical qualifications from the Nautical Institute of Brittany, and now lives with his family in Zhuhai, which is less than one hour’s drive from Integrity.
His expertise lies in organising and scheduling parts and labour, supervising engineers, foremen, contractors, overseeing quality control and daily operations that contribute to smooth production at the facility and a superior outcome for our Integrity owners with a boat in build. Being able to communicate with the Integrity factory staff in their own language has provided some significant benefits to delivering outcomes.
We are extremely fortunate to have Sebastian onboard and his contribution has been welcomed by everyone involved.
